What Is Monthly

Website Support?

It  is important to update and maintain your website on a regular basis. A successful online business requires the continual care and feeding of one of it's most important assets: it's website.

Your Website is Crucial to Your Business’ Success

Your website generates leads, attracts potential clients, and subsequently brings money into your business. If you are an online or digital entrepreneur, your business cannot succeed without a website. It is your business hub on the web, a place for clients to learn more about you and your services and potential partners to find you. It is where you can establish yourself as an expert in your niche and grow your community. To say that your website is one of the most important asset you own as part of your business is an understatement.

The question to ask: is your website running at peak performance? What would you do if it went down for a day? A week?

Your Website is Vulnerable

I’m not trying to scare you. But it’s the reality of living in a modern world and running an online business. Your website is vulnerable and needs to be cared for and tended to. Web sites get attacked every day (even the big ones); all of them are easy targets.

Your site needs to be monitored, updated and backed-up on a regular, ongoing basis.

Your Website is Never “Done”

You should think of your website as a living, breathing thing. It must be cared for, tended to and fed regularly. In order for it and your online business to thrive, you must constantly update it, tweak it, and work with it.

Even if your website is perfect, it shouldn't remain static for very long. You must add and refresh content continually. In addition, you and your business are constantly changing and growing.  Your website should reflect these changes.

In order to succeed and thrive as an online entrepreneur, time and energy must be directed towards keeping your website updated and healthy.

You Can Do the Work Yourself

A solid monthly web maintenance program includes updates, website monitoring, content updates, occasional tweaks and bug fixes, and more.

With a little training and practice, along with dedicated time each month, you can comfortably perform these tasks on your own; WordPress was built to be easily maintained and updated.

If you are techie-minded then you can easily learn how to backup, secure and update your site. But this option isn’t the best one for every business owner.

The work can be time-consuming. If you don’t already know how to do it, it can cost a fair amount of money and time to learn how.

Even if you are very comfortable and knowledgable with technology, the big question is: Do you want to do it? If not, do you have someone on your team who can do it?

If you'd rather spend your time on income-producing tasks that help to build your business, and you don't have someone on your team who can support and maintain your website for you, then read on!

(1) The monthly allotted 30- or 60-minute support time does not rollover; it must be used within the 30-day billing cycle or is lost. The time can used for content updates, minor bug fixes, plugin installation, updates to the design or style  of your site, etc.

(2) There are many plugins that offer developer versions the plugin that allow me to install and share with clients. If I have purchased a license for one of these and your site uses the plugin for it's functionality, you can have access to this plugin for free as long as you use one of my monthly website support plans.
